What is your coaching style?

Inside Out Coaching ATX uses an open coaching style, meaning that sessions are tailored to what the client wants to discuss or work on. While creating a program is often a popular option for coaching practices, I have discovered that offering tailored sessions for each client allows me to serve them best.

What kind of clients do you usually work with?

Inside Out Coaching ATX has mainly worked with those who are neurodiverse (ADHD and learning disabilities,) however my coaching method can work for anyone, regardless of whether or not you have a neurodiverse condition. My slogan “Embracing Every Mind, Empowering Every Journey,” reflects this commitment to working with all different types of people and the journeys that clients may find themselves on.

What do you mean by neurotypical?

Neurotypical means someone who functions similarly to most of their peers. A neurotypical person would not receive a diagnosis of ADHD, a learning disability, autism, or other neurodiverse condition.

What can I expect from a typical coaching session?

Coaching sessions are 60 minutes long, once a week. All sessions are online unless a client needs to meet in person (for example, when a client needs their calendar organized.) Meeting online takes away the steps to get from one place to another, which is particularly helpful when coaching a client with ADHD.

The first meeting is a “get to know you” session where we dive deep into the client’s stories, habits, and ultimately why they want to work with a coach. Clients will often discover new things about themselves or start to form new habits by the first session.

How long does the coaching process take?

Coaching with Inside Out Coaching ATX takes three months with 12 sessions total. After the three months are completed, clients can sign up for another three months if they would like to continue.

What kind of results can I expect?

After coaching with Inside Out Coaching ATX, clients have reported feeling more peaceful, and calm, their self-talk has improved significantly, with their focus improving in life and work.

How do you track progress?

Throughout our time working together, I will assign homework to be completed by the next session. This homework is meant to be short and has something to do with what we are working on in our sessions. This also gives clients the opportunity to put what we are discussing into action, using life coaching tips and tricks as a guide for life once clients’ complete sessions.

What is the cost of coaching?

The cost of 12 sessions is $1,500. If clients pay in full they will receive an extra session. Clients can pay for coaching in full, they can split it (two payments of $750) or they can pay by the session ($125.)

What qualifications and experience do you have?

I am a certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner, and I also have experience being diagnosed with dyscalculia (math learning disability) and ADHD. I know firsthand the stories that people with these conditions go through regularly and have gone through years of deep inner work to gain knowledge that would benefit the neurodiverse community.

Is coaching like therapy? What is the difference?

No. The difference between coaching and therapy is that therapy is meant to bring you awareness where coaching encourages and shows you how to take action. Therapy is appropriate when you are having a problem in your life and you want advice from someone who is not a friend or loved one and is trained to look at the inner workings of our brains, emotions, and thoughts from a psychological prospective. Coaching is appropriate when you want to take action in some area of your life, whether its in your business, romantic life, or something else entirely.

While a therapist will ask what is wrong and bring awareness to the problem, a coach will ask how you want to take action following the session and guide you to that place to fully take the leap. While both coaching and therapy can help you feel empowered, both use different analysis styles to help clients. While therapy can last for years, working with a coach can take anywhere from three to six months, and sometimes up to a year depending on the clients needs.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Coaching is right for you if you are ready to take action. Unlike therapy which brings you awareness, coaching works with clients on things such as mindset, setting goals, and plotting out the steps to achieve your goals. Action in coaching is key and is ultimately what brings clients to coaching.

What happens if I miss a session or need to reschedule?

A client can cancel without a penalty 24 hours before their session. If clients miss a session without letting me know or they are 15 minutes late or more to a session without letting me know, they will be charged a late fee of $125, which is the cost of the session.

How do you ensure confidentiality in our work together?

All clients deserve privacy and respect during our time together and as such, I will not share any personal information about clients with others. The only exception to this is in the event where a client talks about hurting themselves or others. In this event, I will refer clients to a licensed therapist.

While I do not keep in touch with clients after our sessions, I send a check-in e-mail after 30 days to see how they are doing. While clients are welcome to follow me on the official Inside Out Coaching ATX social media channels, I do not accept friend requests or follows from clients on my personal social media accounts.

Do you offer a trial session or introductory meeting?

I do offer a 30-minute consultation to meet with clients and talk about what they want to work on and what’s it like to work with me. This meeting is at no cost to clients.
